Tom Kerrigan Photography
Documentary photography of coastal industry and the people who work it
Deadweight
Six weeks on North Sea trawlers working out of Peterhead and Fraserburgh. These photographs document the rhythm of industrial fishing — life aboard ship and on the quay, the work itself and the men who know it.
Cold Iron
Steelworkers and ship-breakers in Hartlepool's dismantling yards, where ocean-going vessels are cut down to scrap. Part of an ongoing body of work documenting the industrial coastline and the precision and hazard of heavy work.
Recognition
The work has been exhibited at three galleries and published in two national magazines. More on the About and Exhibitions pages.
